Some shows are SRO (standing room only) on the main level + a seated balcony, both are general admission. Other shows are fully-seated general admission. Additionally, other shows are fully seated with reserved seating. This will be clear when you buy your tickets. Please also be aware many shows are strictly 21+. Some shows may be all ages OR all ages in the balcony.
All upcoming shows can be found on our show calendar, or you can purchase tickets from our ticket kiosks, located at Show Bar (Revolution Hall) and Bar Bar (Mississippi Studios) during open hours.
Yes. We have a guest parking lot off of 14th ave and spots cost $10 each. Parking is available after 6pm. If the lot is unavailable or full and you have to park on the street, please be mindful of our neighbors. Don’t block their driveways, don’t be loud, and be sure to pick up your trash. If you have an ADA placard you may park in the guest lot attached to the building for free. If you are planning on drinking, we request you and your group take a taxi or rideshare in the interest of safety – thank you for considering this option as an alternative to driving.
Check the banner on the home page of our website. The roof deck is open April-October weather and event permitting. Double check before you head down just to make sure. In the off season, if it’s nice enough out, we will open the roof deck for viewing with service from Show Bar on select show nights.
We want everyone to have the best possible experience when coming to our events. Please contact us at info@revhallpdx.com and provide us with the show and date you have purchased tickets for and how we can best accommodate your needs. Please note that we have several different seating configurations. We do our best to find the best location for you and your guests but have limited space and have to ensure that everyone is safe and as comfortable as possible.
Firearms, large knives, fireworks or explosives, drugs, outside alcohol, large bags, musical instruments or noise makers, large signs, spray paint, replica weapons, costume masks, any items determined by our security staff that could be used as a weapon, used to threaten other guests, used to disrupt events. This list is subject to change without notice. Only on-duty law enforcement is allowed to carry firearms on our property.
Yes! Coat check is available at our Box Office on the first floor of the building near the main entrance. The cost of checking coats is $5, and bags are $8. Both cash and card are accepted.
We allow only VERY small handbags (purses) smaller than 10”x10”x6”. All small bags that are allowed into the building will be thoroughly searched. It is our security staff’s discretion to allow or not allow any bags even if they are of the correct size. If the bag is larger than the indicated size, it will need to be checked at coat check.
We hold all lost items for 14 days. If you have an item you are missing within the last 30 days please contact us at info@revhallpdx.com, please provide a description of the item including make, color, shape, etc. We typically have a large number of items so being as descriptive as possible is very helpful for us to try and find it for you.
Come by show bar when we’re open or send us an email at info@revhallpdx.com and we can take a look for you. We shred any unclaimed cards after 30 days.
Guests of all ages can attend. All guests over the age of 2 are required to have their own ticket. Just because an event is All Ages does not mean that the content is approved for guests of any age.
No. Our OLCC liquor license does not allow for us to have minors mixed with adults 21 and older when our events are listed as 21+.
We accept all IDs listed on the OLCC list of acceptable IDs; Valid State Issued Drivers Licenses or ID cards, Valid Passports, Canadian ID, and Valid US Military IDs. Valid means not expired and unaltered. The OLCC defines ‘State’ as a United State or protectorate. If you are a guest traveling from out of country, you need to present a valid Passport. Photo copies or a digital image of an ID are not accepted.
If a show is listed as 21 and over or you wish to drink an adult beverage and appear under the age 30 we will ask for your ID. State law requires us to verify the age of anyone who appears under the age 26 by using one of their approved forms of ID. Photo copies or digital images of your ID are not accepted.
When an event is listed as general admission it means all seating and standing locations are first come first serve. Some of our events are fully seated and general admission which just means first come first serve seating. Make sure to not leave open seats between you and your neighbor so all groups can find seating.
When an event is listed as fully seated it means we have seating throughout the venue all the way up to the front of the stage and do not have any areas for standing or dancing.
When you purchase the tickets you pick the seat you will be sitting in for the concert.
It depends on the location, but the majority of the seats labeled as such still have good views of the stage. In most cases it is just a handrail or the curvature of the room that will partially obstruct the view of one side of the stage.
Yes! Any food and beverage purchased at any of our bars and cafe in the building are allowed in the venue for most shows. Just no glass cups please!
Yes! We have several locations menus available in the building; Show Bar has yummy pizza, burgers and fries with a menu we borrowed from our sister venue, Bar Bar.
Rock and Roll high school! The building used to be Washington (or Washington-Monroe) High School. It was built in 1924 (after East Side High School – 1904 – was mostly destroyed in a fire) and the last class was held here in 1981. Since then it has served various functions until 2015 when it was rehabilitated into the multi use space it is today. Most of the old classrooms are now office space or bars and restaurants and the original high school auditorium is now home to Revolution Hall.
Just send us a note at info@revhallpdx.com. We have lots of spaces that can accommodate all sorts of different types of events and configurations. We love hosting events!
Typically not, but sometimes. Best way to find out about additional tickets is to sign up for our mailing list. We do not offer a waiting list for available tickets.
All ticket sales are final and we have a no refund policy in most circumstances. At your own risk, you are welcome to share your tickets with a friend or someone who can attend.
We will email ticket purchasers directly and post updated information on our website.
It depends on the event and is ultimately subject to Artist preference, but generally our house policy is no professional photography, no flash photography, and please don’t be a distraction to your fellow show goers.
We often don’t know the official schedule until the day of the show and even then it is subject to change. Most events have a door time and start time listed and we do our best to start every event as close to ontime as possible. Typically opening acts play for 30-45 minutes.
Sign-up for both the artist and venue email lists, and follow them both on social media, for your best chance at being alerted to a potential artist or venue password-protected pre-sale. Sometimes demand exceeds the venue’s capacity: tickets can sell out in minutes or even seconds. We take every possible precaution to make sure tickets wind up in the hands of fans, not third party resellers. These precautions include ticket limits, bot stopper, delayed ticket delivery and scrubbing the event after tickets are sold for suspicious purchases or multiple orders from the same IP address.
Film events fully seated w/ obstructed view balcony sides striked. At the time of booking, we will confirm the configuration prior to on-sale.
Venue is a shared space inside of a former High School with tenants occupying space inside the building. Hallways surrounding the auditorium are open to the public.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the earth. We have recently stopped using single use plastic cups (we used metal pint glasses and reusable rocks glasses at our bars when glass isn’t permitted) and are continually looking for additional ways that we can be better. The future belongs to all of us, and we bear that responsibility seriously.
